Dr. György Barabas

Dr. György Barabas (born 1958), studied Economic Planning with focus Informatics at the University of Economic Sciences in Budapest and graduated there 1986 as Dr. oec. (in operations research). During his career (as of 1982 in Hungary, from 1986 in Germany and since 1991 in RWI Essen) he concentrated on econometric modeling. Beyond national models (at time the RWI-business cycle model for Germany) he extended models both to international economic issues (Project< LINK), and to disaggregation concerning federal states, industries or the labor market.

Econometric multi-equation models, business cycle analysis and forecast, forecast evaluation
