Dr.  Jochen Dehio

Jochen Dehio studied economics and social sciences at the University of Bonn. He wrote his dissertation, which was based on the development of a disaggregated simulation model, during his time as research assistant to Prof. Wilhelm Henrichsmeyer at the chair of "Economics, Agricultural Policy and Information Systems" at the University of Bonn. After his doctorate, he was academic associate at the Institute for European Integration Research in Bonn for one year. Since January 1995 he has been a researcher at RWI; initially he analysed structural change in the economy. Since 1999 his main research activity has been the analyses of economic effects of new technologies. Furthermore, the evaluation of technology and labor market policy measures is part of his research activity.
