Dr. Rainer Kambeck

Rainer Kambeck studied economics at the University/GH Siegen and the University of Cologne (Diplom-Volkswirt 1992). From 1992 to 1998 he worked as a researcher in the Cologne Centre of Public Economics at the chair of Prof. Klaus Mackscheidt, where he received in December 1998 his doctorate degree for his thesis on growth effects of capital income taxation. From 1999 to 2000 he worked as a scientific assistant at the same chair. Since October 2000 he is a researcher at RWI in the Area of Competence "Public Finance", whose deputy chief he is since January 2005.
