Prof. Dr. Jochen Kluve

Prof. Dr. Jochen Kluve is Professor of Empirical Labor Economics at Humboldt University Berlin (since 2011) and head of the Berlin Office of RWI, for which he has worked since 2003. He studied economics in Heidelberg, Dublin and Amsterdam, and worked as lecturer and postdoctoral fellow at UC Berkeley. Jochen Kluve has worked extensively on the evaluation of labor market programs in both developed and developing countries, as well as other topics in labor policy and methodological issues in impact evaluation. He has provided expertise to, inter alia, GIZ, the World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank, the ILO, and the European Commission.

His research has been published in the Economic Journal, the Journal of the European Economic Association, the Industrial and Labor Relations Review, and Labour Economics, among others.
