Dr. Jörg Peters

Researcher

Jörg Peters studied economics in Cologne and at ENS de Cachan, Paris. Jörg joined RWI in March 2005 and finished his PhD studies at Bochum University in May 2010. His research focus is on household energy demand, survey methodology and rural electrification. Jörg is currently managing several research projects on the evaluation of development interventions in rural Africa. On behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, he is coordinating the evaluation of Dutch aid in the energy sector. He has published in refereed journals such as Energy Journal, Journal of Development Studies, and World Development.
