Rainer Graskamp

Rainer Graskamp studied initially business economics at the University of Applied Sciences in Dortmund (degree: Bachelor of Business Economics) and then economics at the University of Bonn (degree: Master of Economics). Since 1985 he has been employed at the RWI. From November 2014 onwards Mr. Graskamp has been working in the research department “Health Economics”. At the beginning of his professional scientific activities, he was involved in reporting the economic structural change. Thereafter, Mr. Graskamp was active in the research department “Enterprises and Innovation” where he collaborated primarily in the preparation of several studies. Recently, his scientific work has been focused on analyses of the effects of new technologies in general as well as the on-going evaluation of the industrial collective research (IGF) and the accompanying evaluation of the funding instrument “Spitzencluster-Wettbewerb” in particular. Furthermore, the analysis of the innovation activities in Bremen was lately the focal point of his research work.
