Dr. Roman Mennicken

Researcher

Roman Mennicken studied health economics and public health at the University of Cologne and at the University of Auckland, New Zealand between 2001 and 2007. Before that he worked as a registered nurse in Germany and England. Since May 2007 he is working for the research division “Health Economics” at the RWI. Additionally, he has been working for the Department of Health Care Management at the University of Cologne, where he finished his Ph.D. in 2010. Afterwards he has been an academic visitor at the Judge Business School at the University of Cambridge. His research focuses on the applied econometrics with special emphases on quality of health care providers.
