RWI Research Seminar
» In the RWI Research Seminar external guests (national as well as international) present their scientific papers. In general, the seminars take place on Mondays from 4 to 5 pm (including discussion). Anyone interested in listening can join the seminar after prior registration.

RWI Brown Bag Seminar
» The RWI Brown Bag Seminar is an internal seminar series, in which scientists of the RWI and the RGS Econ can present and discuss their actual research. Presentations can cover final papers as well as work in progress. The seminar series usually takes place on Mondays from 12 to 1 pm.

At the “seminar hike“, RWI junior economists (PhDs and Post-docs) present their current research to each other and discuss it in plenary and individual talks. In addition to the scientific exchange, it is an opportunity to get to know each other better, which is facilitated by the traditional hiking tour. The seminar hike is a two-day event which has been taking place at different locations in North Rhine-Westphalia since July 2007.
