Prof. Dr. Marc Jeuland

Marc Jeuland is an Assistant Professor at the Sanford School of Public Policy and the Duke Global Health Institute at Duke University and a researcher in the department “Climate Change and Development” at RWI. His research focuses on non-market assessments, water and sanitation, environment and health, energy supply and economic development, transboundary water resources planning and management, and the influence and economic effects of climate change.

After earning his bachelor's degree in engineering and chemistry, Marc completed his master's and doctoral degrees in environmental engineering and economics at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. His work has been published in journals such as the Journal of Environmental Economics and Management, Journal of Development Economics, Environmental and Resource Economics, Water Resources Research, and World Development.
