Dr. Mark Andreas Andor

Dr Mark A. Andor has been head of the "Prosocial Behaviour" research group since 2021. He is also an external lecturer at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf and the University of Duisburg-Essen.

Mark Andor has many years of experience in the acquisition, processing and management of research projects for, among others, the German Research Foundation (DFG), the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNF), the European Commission, state and federal ministries (e.g. for the BMBF and BMWI) as well as for other scientific sponsors such as the Mercator Foundation and acatech. In particular, he conducts randomised controlled field studies and large household surveys. His research interests lie in the field of prosocial behaviour research, experimental and behavioural economics, applied econometrics and environmental, resource, transport and energy economics as well as efficiency and productivity estimation.

He has published in numerous internationally peer-reviewed journals, including leading interdisciplinary science journals such as Nature and as well as high-ranking economics journals such as Journal of Environmental Economics and Management and European Journal of Operational Research.
